Organic Polyphenolic Extra Virgin Olive oil has always been one of the most important ingredients of the world wide known Mediterranean diet. In Greece, varieties of olive trees have been created and production methods have been developed that are still insuperable even today.
Our olive groves are organically grown and the olive oil we produce is one of the best in the world.
NIANE Winery
Next to Ancient Olympia and Ancient Ilida, the Oleni Mountain was an important area of vine cultivation and wine production. The wine-making traditions of centuries are still faithfully followed by the Theodoropoulos family and the wines produced in NIANE are products of deep knowledge and historical traditions.
Our vineyards are planted with native Greek varieties and are located in mountainous areas. They have very low yield per hectare, which greatly favors the quality and noble characteristics of our wines.
IO Power Foods
Io named by the Ancient Greeks a flower that had spectacular healing and nutritional qualities. From this flower, it was also named the “Ios” Island. IO flower considered by many as the world’s first Power Food.
The tradition of dietary supplements in the ancient Olympia area is almost as old as the Olympic Games themselves. Athletes from all over the known world arrived at Ilida to compete in Olympia, in the holy games of Zeus. Everything that would help their performance was desirable and they did not hesitate to try anything that would help them conquer the wreath of victory.

Our company is based in the semi-mountainous Oleni of the Western Peloponnese, very close to ancient Olympia. It is a family business and deals with the cultivation, production, standardization and marketing of organic and traditional authentic natural products. Although the efforts related to the establishment of the company started only in August 2016, the Theodoropoulos family has been personally active in organic farming since 1980 out of belief and love for nature.

The family's activities will soon be extended to the production of other organic products as well as agritourism services. All are award-winning products of the Estate are certified by BIOHELLAS and come only from the biologically certified olive groves and vineyards of the Theodoropoulos family in Oleni and Agios Ilias.
Organic soap, organic spices, tea, sea salt and honey come from selected families of organic farms in the area. This is the result of our cooperation to promote and support the region.

OUR LOCATION | OLENI PELOPONNESE & AGIOS ILIAS
Oleni, was the name of the Byzantine city, which was built about 600 years AD. and was converted around 1100 AD. in an important cultural and economic center of the region. Oleni is today a small village, 298 meters high on a hillside, in the western Peloponnese, in the Prefecture of Ilia, 20 kilometers northeast of Ancient Olympia. The landscape structure and its geographical location, which have been extremely important and have been key elements of its history, have remained unchanged over the years to this day.
Here, then, at this place, the Theodoropoulos family, also known as Bonobolia, start in the early 1980s. We fully apply our land, our olive groves and vineyards to wine and currants, organic farming. Indeed, some crops are also governed by the laws of Rudolf Steiner's Biodynamics. Our goal is to restore the traditional methods of cultivating of our ancestors, without the use and assistance of chemicals, for sustainable agriculture. We believe that only in this way of cultivation, in the vineyards and olive groves that grow on such natural soil, are we most likely to find the endless "smell of earth" in the wine and olive oil they give us. Terroir, as the French say.
