OEON "Extra Virgin Olive Oil" High Polyphelonic 500ml

The new generation of olive oils with Health Claim certificate according to the 432/2012 EU Regulation.

The time when olive oil has been classified only according to qualitative criteria, such as “extra virgin olive oil” has passed. Ingredients of polyphenols, such as oleocanthal, oleacein, hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein, etc. are much more important to human health according to new scientific research.

Such olive oil belongs to the category of natural oils that protect blood lipids from oxidative stress, according to the European Union Regulation 432/2012.

The daily consumption 20gr (two tablespoons) of this category of olive oil provides at least 5gr hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol or its derivatives and therefore ensures the daily amount of health polyphenols in our diet.

The OEON extra virgin olive oil is produced in our organic olive groves in Oleni of Ileia, it belongs to the category “high polyphenolic extra virgin olive oil” and our production of 2019 was awarded a silver medal by the Pharmaceutical Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
